Translation Content: The text you translate stays on your device and is never sent to our servers
User Accounts: We don't link any data to your Reddit account or Chrome profile
Location Data: No GPS, IP address tracking, or location-based information
Device Information: No device fingerprinting, hardware specs, or system information

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the extension is used and improve the user experience. This data is completely anonymous and helps us make the extension better for everyone.

We might see "100 users translated English to Vietnamese in r/webdev today" but we never know WHO those users are or WHAT they translated.

Local Storage (Your Device)

The extension stores minimal settings locally on your device:

Language Preferences: Your chosen source and target languages
Extension Settings: UI preferences and configuration
Session Data: Temporary data that's cleared when you close your browser

Analytics Data (Google Analytics)

Anonymous usage statistics are retained according to Google Analytics' data retention policies:

Default Retention: 26 months for analytics data
No Personal Data: Since we don't collect personal information, there's nothing personal to retain
Aggregated Only: All data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to individuals

Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data rights (like deletion requests) don't apply. However, you have complete control:
